On june 1st, i contacted mr. Singh gupta through the web platform www.alibaba.com to present my interest in buying 20 roku devices, which in their publication indicated that they were available in the usa.

After the first contact through the platform www.alibaba.com, he asked me to contact him through his mobile number via whatsapp application at his phone number +[protected], in which contact mr. Singh gupta reports that he does not they have the products published in the usa, but they have it in a warehouse in china offering me a better price if i increased the number of items to buy.

I told mr. Singh gupta that it was not convenient for me to make the purchase from china because the delivery time was too long for me. Given my refusal to make the purchase in the manner proposed, mr. Singh gupta offers me an alternative to buy roku devices in the usa through a branch of his store, he provides me with the url of the store https: // www. Ozgadgetltd.com/ and the mobile phone of the sales manager of said store (+[protected], i immediately proceeded to contact the online store oz gadget ltd that is located in new york city through its website and from there i am attended by an operator who put me directly in touch with the sales manager once i provide him with all my personal data, including the shipping address.

The sales manager of oz gadget ltd, who says his name is gupta bohraj, proposes to me through our communication via whatsapp to increase the quantity to buy to obtain a better price.in this sense, the proposal he makes me is that i buy him 50 pieces of roku with a price of $ 6 each and he sent it to my address in miami, florida for an amount of $ 50 per shipment, so i agreed and asked him send the invoice to make the corresponding payment. Send me by whatsapp the invoice # bp45788v4 in the amount of $ 350 that includes the shipping cost.in the invoice indicate the email where i must make the payment via zellepay:
[protected]@yahoo.com.

When trying to make the payment to the indicated recipient, the zellepay platform gives me a warning that the email provided does not correspond to any affiliate of the service, so i immediately canceled and notified mr. Gupta bohraj that the transfer of funds to the email indicated in the invoice # bp45788v4, immediately supply me with another email address to make the payment [protected]@gmail.com, immediately make the payment for $ 350 through zellepay to the email provided, this time the i pay if it was done effectively and i send proof of payment to mr. Gupta bohraj. Immediately after i report the payment, he informs me that the cargo transport company is informing him that the minimum order that they are going to handle is for 2000 pieces and that i must pay for the difference and they immediately send me a new invoice in which they indicate a new quantity of pieces (2000 pieces) and that i must immediately pay a difference of $ 11, 700 for them to be able to send me my purchase. With this new change in the conditions of the negotiation, i indicate to mr. Gupta bohraj that i do not in any way agree with the decision they have made and that in this way i cannot continue with the operation.

After raising my disagreement, mr. Gupta bohraj says that i consult with the freight forwarding company and that they accept the shipment to be at least 200 pieces and that if i accept this amount they would give me an additional 50 pieces for a shipment total of 303 pieces. Regarding this last proposal, i express my disagreement and my inability to pay a higher amount than what we had already agreed.
Then i indicate to mr. Gupta bohraj that i give him two options:

1. Send me the 50 pieces immediately, because i had paid for them via zellepay according to what we had initially agreed.

2. To return the money i had already paid in the amount of $ 350

He tells me that he cannot take either option.

Since i could not reach a reasonable agreement with mr. Gupta bohraj, i wrote to mr. Singh gupta via whatsapp to inform him about the unfortunate results of the negotiation that he had recommended to me with oz gadget ltd. After several explanations and when i supplied him with the invoices that had been issued to me, he indicated that he was going to speak to the manager of oz gadeget ltd about my case.

Then his reply was that he reached an agreement with oz gadget ltd for me to pay them additionally 25 pieces for a total of 75 pieces at the same price.

Again i contact oz gadget ltd through mr. Gupta bohraj to indicate that i would be willing to pay the additional 25 pieces and that he will issue me again the invoice corresponding to that established agreement, billing 75 pieces plus 5 courtesy pieces making a total of 80 pieces to send me. The new invoice had a debit balance of $ 200 which i paid immediately, again through zellepay to the email of [protected]@gmail.com.

On june 4, mr. Gupta bohraj sent me by whatsapp the url of the freight transport company (www.wcsexpress.com) and the tracking number (Tracking id: t64959bf47) and confirming that the dispatch was carried out and that i could start tracking.

On june 6, when checking the status of the shipment of my package, i notice that in the shipping history it indicates that the package left the united arab emirates (Uae) on june 04 and that i am in transit through saudi arabia, romania and finally the package was on hold the customs of spain and that i must pay $ 400 or present an import license.

I immediately report this to mr. Gupta bohraj of oz gadget ltd and he tells me that if indeed my order was held in spain at customs and that i must pay $ 400 to release it. I express my disagreement with that payment since at no time did i authorize the shipment to be made from another country other than the usa and that they are responsible and must pay.

As of today, they do not give me an answer and with all the aforementioned i can conclude that i was the subject of a well-mounted scam from a user of the www.alibaba.com platform and the alleged company called oz gadget ltd, which according to their information on their website, is located in new york city.

The freight forwarding company (WCS) also does not answer my calls or answer emails. I think it is also a fraudulent company
