We had purchased a 2 ton AC Split – model # PANASONIC CS-US 24SKY-1/2.00 TON SPLIT AC, Bill Date 15.04.17, Amount Rs 53, 900.00 – from a reputed Dealer called M/s Great Eastern Appliance Pvt. Ltd., Narendrapur, Kolkata. After giving repeated reminders the AC is installed on 4.05.2017. But after installation, we noticed that the AC is not working & cooling has not done.The installation person even took Rs 5050 for the purchase of extra items required for installation but failed to provide with any bill or document for the same. I called the Great eastern customer care (5th April’2017) & lodge a complain against its center and a technician came the next day (6 April’2017) giving repeated reminders to check. He told us that this is a case of ‘Leakage of AC Gas’. For our understanding, he explained that something has gone wrong at the time of installation. The same was installed by PANASONIC INSTALLATION SERVICE([protected]). But again after 1 day the AC failed to function properly. We paid top price for a superior product. I did not choose to buy a budget brand where I am prepared to compromise on the viewing experience and product longevity. It is completely PANASONIC’s responsibility of the Product Failure and do a replacement / installation job to my satisfaction at no cost. But even after so many phone calls today they are not at all cooperate & giving support to us. We have decided to take up this case legally now and approaching the Consumer Forum to get things sorted out with Panasonic. I am lodging an online complaint here as well and would appreciate if some help can be obtained from any online consumer forum as well. Was this information helpful? |
