I have purchased one Refrigerator Model SF343SNX2 at Ludhiana (Punjab India) from Bedi Electronics Ludhiana Punjab upon their strong recommendations for Panasonic's better products and prompt after sales services.
On[protected] at 10.00 a.m lodged a service request of faulty refrigerator on helpline number (given request no. as R[protected] and got a call from service center that engineer will be coming shortly. No body came. On[protected] morning I again contacted helpline executive and apprised him about poor service who gave me one no. [protected] of Some Sh. Sunil which was found to be wrong number upon dialling. After again calling at helpline another number [protected] of Some Sh. Sanjay Kumar was given that too was found to be non-existence. I requested the service centre number at Ludhiana but no result. On[protected] Morning again emailed for help, no action. Finally I called the dealer from where the product was purchased who gave telephone of service centre head, who upon calling assured the action soon. But his promise for early service started on[protected] evening when a young man namely Gurinder Singh visited our house and after check up declared that the compressor is out of order and gave us a job sheet mention the same. He also told that the unit shall have to be carried to service centre for repairs. We requested to repair the same at site but in vain. Upon our great follow up the unit was taken away to service centre 0n[protected].
On[protected] at 5.27pm got a call from service center informing me that some pcb is faulty and told to apprise some estimates. I objected on the ground that your service engineer who visited and checked the set never told us any fault other than the faulty compressor. Upon further discussion on the issue I was told that the visiting engineer was untrained hence could not detect the same. for which I objected that why an untrained or less trained person was sent or deputed. We apprehend this to be pure case of money extortion on misleading and faulty grounds, because the compressor was under guarantee so they informed that PCB is at fault which is not under guarantee.
Since then we are making calls and emails to the company but in vain. Till date we have not received back our refrigerator after repair. The height of the misery is that the telephone numbers given in company website One at Gurgaon Address and other at Chenai Address only rings, no body picks the phones.
Highly frustrated for very very poor response from the company.
