Pantaloons — Defective shoes (smell issue)

Hi Customer Care, I bought one pair of Red Tape (4898) shoes on 27th Jan from Pantaloons, SB Road, Pune. After I took them home, I noticed some foul smell is coming from the shoes. Upon finding this, next day on 28th Jan, I visited the store and complained regarding the issue. But as per the store, smell is not a defect and they cannot do anything on this issue. Please advise.
