Dear Sir,
yesterday i got a call from delhi nbr [protected] by Ms Shagun saying that she is calling from SBI CARD and they are renewing all cards due to some reward points issue not acceptable to customers so they need my confirmation details and after confirming with me my Date of birth address card nbr and name, she said that i have some 16000 reward points accumulated in my credit card and since thet have a policy that only 8000 reward points can be transferred in new card so the rest 8000 points will be encashed through gift vouchers which I will recieve in 15 to 20 days along with new card and that she will give me a code nbr which when i give to the courier guy then only the new card will be handed over to me
she then told me that to transfer those 8000 reward points she is putting me on IVR machine and i have to type on my phone the three digits behind the card and i dont hv to speak out those digits, meanwhile then phone got disconnected and she again called up in just few seconds and made me to type those three digits of CVV by pressurizing that without it the reward points will not be transferred and after typing those digits there was a male person who came on phone asking me if i hv recieved any OTP message from them as they are from SBI CARD and compellled me to confirm this OTP to them if its the same that they have just now sent to me .
i told them the OTP and soon after i got a message that transaction of amount of 7841 rs has been done on my credit card to parmar business solutions,
upon seeing that message, i enquired to that person why have they debited amount from my card as till now they did not talk to me anything about money, it was only reward points being transferred .
i then asked that person what is his authenticity that he is from SBI card, and he then again sent an sms to me with another OTP saying we have again generated an OTP, u pls check that message in your phone .
i saw there was another OTP message and i asked him if he needs this OTP also to be told to him so he said, no, he does not need this OTP, its only sent to make me realise that they are from SBI card call centre only and no amount has been debited or would come in my statement and that I have to pay nothing to SBI card in my next monthly statement.
sir, I request you to please check upon and track this fraud company and these phone numbers . one more nbr from which they were calling is [protected] and find out what are they doing with customers and why they are debiting the amount from the credit card of individuals by befooling them as done to me . I have not give any acceptance for any gifts or any gift vouchers to be given to me, why they have debited this amount through my card, I am in shock .
