[Resolved] Passport Office Chennai — Terribly bad tatkal service!

I applied for passport of type Tatkal and got all the documents verified on 19/11/2014 at passport seva kendra at Aminjikarai.Tatkal service which is supposed to issue within a week, but we never got it. After a week the police at our thana called up and asked us to come to the station (instead of they coming and checking) with all the documents, we went and submited. Every day we kept checking the online passport status it kept saying 'Police verification requires' After a week it changed that 'Its under verification'. it went on for 1 and half month and finally I got am passport issued on 31/12/2014.
