This is M.GOVINDA RAO, citizen of an India, born on 05.07.1971 and working in oman as a project manager since 2014.Earlier I had hand written passport (A6530865) issued at Visakhapatnam regional passport office on 09.11.1998 valid for 20 years (08.11.2018) with my native village address. The details as follows

Because of my livelihood that i had permanently shifted and settled in Aganampudi of visakhapatnam since 2006 with my family with the following address.

As per instruction and notification of external affairs ministry that i had hand over the hand written passport on 20.12.2015 to the Indian Embassy office at Muscat, to get the computerized pass port with the change of address as mentioned above. After several inquiries the passport officer at Embassy told that issue of passport is being delayed due to non-availability data base at Visakhapatnam to issue the computerized passport. Later i had approached the passport officer at Indian embassy at Muscat to make an alternate arrangement to go to India as an urgency to meet my family on 07.01.2016.So they had issued the computerized passport (N2791751) with change of address with validity of 1-year (06.01.2016 to 05.01.2017).Now i had applied for extension of passport through passport officer at Indian embassy at Muscat on 18.12.2016.Till now i didn’t get my new passport with extension. Today that i had inquired at BLS International at Muscat (Indian passport and visa service center) about delay in issue of passport. It has come to know that the delay is being due to non-approval from regional passport office at Visakhapatnam (Andhara Pradesh).Now my son Mr.Vedavyasa(Age-10 Years) was hospitalized on 06.01.2017 due to burnt injury at Yashoda Hospital in Hayderabad-India & I need to attend my M-TECH exams on 06.02.2017 at JNTU, Hyderabad, Telangana. So i am here by requesting you to issue my new passport to travel to India to take care of my family and to attend the exams at the earliest.
