[Resolved] Passport Office Guwahati — POLICE VERIFICATION PENDING

Dear Sir

This is with regarding to the long pending status of my Passport Application submitted at New Delhi, Bikajicama Place.

I had submitted the application for renewal of Passport on 11th June 2010 and have got the confirmation slip with the Application Number mentioned as DLF – F[protected].

Its been more than 2 1/2 months and I have not even received the Police Verification. Every time we check the status on website it mentions the same as “ Application is pending for want of Police Report”.

I had sent various emails at the email mentioned on Passport Office website, but there is no response. Even at the phone numbers given on passport website, are not answering my querries. Please advise what to do, as its been pending for long now.

Please confirm the status of my passport application.

I would also like to highlight a similar case of mine where in I have applied for my 1 yr old daughter passport. 2months have passed by but the status remain the same that police verification has been waived and application under way. Can understand what to do.
