Hi Sir, Madam
Name: Mohsin Harun Shaikh
Periyar University Distance Education (Pride)
Roll/Registration Number: B10UCM15750017
I am writing to formally register a complaint against Periyar University regarding the non-issuance of my degree certificate despite completing my graduation through their distance education program in the year 2014. Details: Full Name: Mohsin Harun Shaikh Roll/Registration Number: B10UCM15750017 Course/Degree: B.Com Academic Year of Completion: January 2014 I enrolled in the distance education program offered by Periyar University with the belief that it was a legitimate and recognized program. Throughout my studies, I diligently followed the curriculum and successfully obtained my marksheets from the university's office located in Pune, which was operational at the time. However, to my dismay, after a few months of completing my studies, the university abruptly ceased its operations in Pune without providing any explanation or alternative arrangements for students like myself to obtain important documents such as the degree certificate. Subsequently, when I attempted to reach out to Periyar University to request the issuance of my degree certificate, I was shocked and deeply disappointed to be informed that the program I had completed was not considered valid by the university. This revelation came as a severe blow, as it contradicted the legitimacy implied by the issuance of marksheets earlier. The refusal of Periyar University to provide the necessary documentation has left me in an extremely precarious situation. As a professional seeking employment opportunities, the absence of a valid degree certificate severely impedes my prospects and jeopardizes my career advancement. Moreover, the university's failure to communicate the invalidity of the program prior to enrollment has caused me significant financial loss, wasted time, and emotional distress. Had I been aware that the program was not recognized, I would have never invested my resources and aspirations into pursuing it. I implore Periyar University to rectify this grave injustice and issue the degree certificate that rightfully belongs to me. Furthermore, I seek clarification on why the program was deemed invalid after the issuance of marksheets, as this inconsistency has caused immense confusion and distress among students like myself. In addition to addressing my immediate concern regarding the issuance of the degree certificate, I request guidance on potential courses of action I can pursue to remedy this situation and safeguard my academic and professional integrity. I trust that Periyar University will take prompt and appropriate action to resolve this matter and provide the necessary support to ensure that students are not unfairly disadvantaged due to administrative oversights or shortcomings. Thank you for your attention to this matter Was this information helpful? |
