DOG BITE Case & Complaint - Stray Dogs in Charkop Sector 8
Sir/ Madam,
This is to bring to your notice that last night approx. at 9 pm 3-4 stray dogs had attacked in a group & injured my father (Sr. citizen – age 67 years) at the gate of our own residential society gate - Charkop Kartikey Co-op Hsg Society, Charkop, Sector – 8, Kandivali – West, Mumbai 400 067.
I had to rush him to the hospital (Mangal Murti Hospital) at night for medical treatment against ‘DOG-BITE’. Treating doctor has confirmed that he is getting the cases of ‘Dog-Bites’ from Charkop, Sector-8 on every alternate day and this is an alarming stage.
There are numerous street dogs in this vicinity. They bark & attack even on permanent residents of this area. I have seen and faced this situation many time earlier too; this is even more serious problem especially for small children & senior citizens. It has become impossible for our school children to walk down the lane alone, as these dogs keep following & barking on them. Specially at night, if one dog starts barking, all the others follow and attack in a group.
We have few dog-lovers also in the vicinity to feed these dogs regularly and do not pay heed to our complaints. Street dogs have become a menace out here and have been multiplying in numbers on monthly basis. This is my humble request to you to please pay attention on our request and send Dog catcher team immediately in this area so that we can get rid of this problem soon.
Several housing society committees & members have complained against the increasing treat of Stray Dogs and we have also placed several requests to the BMC requesting them to do something about this issue...but till date no action has been taken.
This is once again requesting BMC to pick all the stray dogs and relieve the residents of the nuisance.

BMC — Increase in STRAY DOGS.
SIR,i m a resident of sanjog nagar in kokani pada dahisar(e) area, there are lot of street dogs in our locality which even comes to bite the permanent residents of our area even i m feared to walk as it keeps on barking. its a request to please visit the sanjog nagar area and do something about such dogs.
