With due respect, I Rajinder Kumar Mittal aged 64/M. I have to submit that in the month of December 2019 I purchased a policy form pnbMetLife with policy no. 23130701 having the Client id: 56467567.
From the agent named Mr. Nitin Kumar with phone number [protected]. When I received my policy in the first week of January 2020, they did the following mistakes in the policy:
1. Wrong mobile number
2. Name of assured person is wrong
3. Wrongly mentioned the policy term
4. Not mentioned the email id in the policy
5. Wrong mother name
6. Wrong spouse name
1st visit-
I immediately approached their office for the corrections that are in the month of January 2020 where I was assured by Ms. Rekha that this would be rectified in 15 days that is within the month of January itself.
Nothing happened.
2nd visit-
I visited the branch of pnbMetLife in sector-17b Chandigarh, which is near about 20kms far from my place. There Mr. Rakesh with mobile number [protected] assured me of solving the matter but again
Nothing happened.
3rd visit-
I again visited the same office in the month of March, Mr. Rakesh was not available then the staff gave me the reference of Mr. Upender with mobile no. [protected]. Again assurance was given but as usual
Nothing happened.
4th try
In the mid of March, the lockdown started due to COVID-19 and until the opening of the offices, the telephonic conversation with Mr. Rakesh continued. Always assurance was given but as usual
Nothing happened.
5th visit-
After the lockdown over I visited the same office but as usual
Nothing happened.
6th attempt-
After all this, I approached their customer helpline no. [protected]. After the long wait of 15 minutes (that is wasting my 15 minutes again), they disconnected the call.
Again I called on the same then Mr. Eric gave me to request no. 42315500 and assured me that one supervisor would talk to me within 24 hours.
The next day I received a call from Mr. Parmod and he again assured me but as usual
Nothing happened.
7th attempt-
Again I got in touch with Ms. Rekha but as usual
Nothing happened.
8th visit-
I visited the same office but as usual
Nothing happened.
Conclusion-
From January 2020 till date, I am running from pillar to post but nothing happened.
Q1.Why are they harassing me?
Q2.What the reason behind not doing the corrections? (is it their incapability or not giving any importance to the customer or any other mean)
Q3.Is it a way of treating a senior citizen?
I am a senior citizen and they are not treating me well as well even sometimes shouted at me. They are just putting all the blame on my shoulders. I did not make any mistake but they are just trying to put the blame on me.
I do not want anything, I just want compensation of 2-3 lacs for this harassment. I do not want to run my policy further with this kind of insensitive people who can’t do the corrections. They are just taking the advantage of my politeness. Now I can’t bear all this. It’s very harassing for me at mental as well as physical level.
we already complained in the IRDAI by they are not taking any action on 16/10/2020.
Pnb staff is now threatening us. They are saying we are not going to change anything, do whatever you can do.
I hope you will take the action as soon as possible.

Instead of admitting that they had made a mistake and try to correct it.they are now threatening me. Is it the way the senior officials work.
