Prudential Packers & Movers, Mumbai — Cheating and arrogant behavior

I had arranged their service to move my House hold materials from Mumbai to Bangalore on 5th of May 2015. The initial discussion was total amount of Rs. 14, 680 that includes the following services, (Packing, loading, unloading, transportation charges = fixed 12000 rs.), (service tax @ 14%(1680 rs.) and Insurance with a value of 50000 rs. @ 2% = 1000 rs.). I have paid Rs.11000/- in cash at the time of departure. Rest i have given him cheque of Rs. 3680/- on 7th of May 2015 for the date of delivery.The goods were loaded and dispatched on 5th evening @ 4.00 pm. The expected delivery date promised by Packers & movers is 3 days or 4 days. On 6th of May i was told to make the entire payment with a reason stating that i was issued a full Paid bill at the time of dispatch. I have agreed to pay but was given Syndicate bank account details. I have requested him to give me some other bank (either axis or icici or hdfc) for locating it conveniently. I didnot get any response. Finally I have reached bangalore on 7th morning and were waiting for calls. On 7th evevning i get a message from him stating that i need to pay additional 6000 rs. upon loading and unloading and warehousing. It was a very arrogant tone when asked for reason and threatened me that if i dont pay additional 6000 rs. then they will not deliver the goods. And untill the date i pay that extra amount they will keep adding Rs. 1000 per day for warehousing. This is absolutely ridiculous and cheating. Inspite of me being available at the destination as per the time of delivery and ready to pay balance amount of Rs. 3680/- as per contract terms, they are not ready to deliver the goods and also threatening me if i don't pay extra money then they will keep adding Rs.1000 per day as warehousing cost and with no gurantee on condition of materials. Today's scenario in India with most literate people and stringent laws are available how dare these guys boldly threaten and cheat people like us. I have strictly maintained my stand on sticking to terms agreed at the time of dispatch and as per the bills received and documented it with the person who contacted. I would request people to guide me on this on steps to protect my goods and get it on time.
