I applied for my transcripts online at the PTU website (which is now known as I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University), the processing time was really quick which I really appreciate, however during the payment for transcripts on Oct 8th, I tried 3 different bank card of mine but it was getting declined as right now I am living in Canada so after that, I tried my Father's bank card (HDFC) who is currently in India which eventually got double charged for the same payment. I requested PTU to refund that amount, I have also sent all the required information on Nov 11th and sent 4 Reminders to refund the amount, and today I received a response from them that it will take 3 to 6 months just only to process a refund. As far I am aware the refund takes 5-10 business days to process or you can take a maximum of a month. When I asked them if they can send me the detailed procedural copy of their policy where it is given that the refund will take half a year to process still they have no answer on it. I am waiting for my refund since October 2020. It already 4th month going which is completely unfair. I have been going back and forth in a loop for the last 4 months, is this the way Punjab Government runs the educational system. The complete world aware of that due to Covid how the economic crisis affecting people. I am requesting that the action needs to be taken asap and the refund be processed back to my father's account. I am attaching herewith the screenshot of their last response to my email.
