Sirs,

1. I am associated with connect since may 2014 and there has not been any problem except minor ones. But now after closure of wifi 112078 on 21 apr 2017 when this was replaced by broadband (Ftth) the problem has arisen.in this connection my mail dated 25 apr 2017 sent to customer care is appended below.

2. Now i am getting calls from different numbers posing as calling from tees hazari court, ropar court etc threatening me of filing of a case against me and asking for out of the court settlement.in this connection my mail sent to customer care on 22 jun 2017 is attached. Today also there was a call from no [protected] posing to be calling from tees hazari court.

3. First of all i have not received the last bill for wifi 112078 till date so how do i know how much amount i am to pay. Secondly when i contacted the customer care they advised me to contact local franchise office at baltana who in turn advised me to pay rs 500/- as full and final bill clear (A/c no 2487787), which i have paid on 23 jun 2017and got a receipt. (Receipt enclosed)

4. Now my point is that when i have been paying regularly and still paying for the new ftth connection; had i received the bill for apr for wifi 112078 i would have definitely paid it also. Secondly the people who are calling and threatening, i don't know whether they are genuine or fraud but one thing is clear that they are harming the image/reputation of the company. It may not be in my case only, there might be more customers facing such type of threats and harassment at the hands of touts/agents.

5. Since it is a matter of serious concern for the customers, you are requested to kindly look into the matter immediately and issue necessary instructions as deemed necessary to settle the case.

Sirs,

It is brought to your notice that on 21 apr 2017 there was a call from connect that my existing wifi connection is to be changed and new ofc connection is to be installed without any charges. Two boys came and laid the wiring etc. After an hour another boy came and installed the modem/router and started the connection. Now i have the following querries :-
(A) i was told that the existing wifi connection will be migrated to fttv and on migration the wifi connection will be removed and router etc will be taken back by the co. Rep which has not been done so far in my case even after repeated calls/requests and the wifi connection is still active. Please clear who will pay for the wifi 112078 connection wef 21 apr 2017 onwards?

(B) it is learnt that i have been given a new connection, if it is so as to how a new connection is given without taking any documents etc and my consent?

You are requested to please clarify the above points and the existing wifi connection be deactivated immediately as i am not going to pay for the same from the date the fttv connection is activated.

An immediate action in the matter may please be taken. Please also inform for how long minimum period i have to continue with this new connection as the internet speed is not there as promised.

Sirs,

1. This is with ref to my mail dated 25 apr 2017 and your reply thereto and also a telephonic call from your office assuring me of no extra charges to be levied even in the case of delayed removal/collection of wifi equipment.

2. After repeated requests the router, outer unit and charger were removed/collected by connect franchise rep on 05/05/2017 (Copy of receipt no 625110 dated 05/05/2017 is enclosed) without taking payment of the last due bill. Till today i have not received the last bill for wifi 112078.

3. Today i got a call from phone no [protected] (Posing to be calling from tees hazari court no 10) threatening me that a case is being filed against me for non payment of amount for a transaction done at zirakpur. When i searched about the phone no on internet via true caller "it belongs to connect, delhi". Then i spoke to mr manjit the customer care executive at mohali and understood the whole thing, it is very embarrassing for me and such action of threatening to the customers is not in favor of company as how do i know how much amount i have to pay as i have not received any bill neither by post nor online uptill now. You may check my bills payments and won't find even a single day delay.

4. Similar type of phone call i had received from no [protected] a few days back and the lady named nidhi calling asked me to speak to some rakesh kumar sharma (Sarkari wakil) on phone no [protected] for out of court settlement. When i checked this no via true caller it belongs to mr pankajgandhi, electronics store delhi. So i presumed it as a fraud call. How one could believe as every day such fraud cases are coming to notice.

5. Now to conclude, you are requested to take immediate action for floating bill for wifi 112078 for the month of apr 2017 as broad band was installed at my residence on 21 apr 2017 and obviously i am not supposed to be charged for wifi and broadband simultaneously as wifiwas replaced by fttv (Broadband). This has already been brought to your notice vide my mail dated 25 apr 2017.

An immediate action in the matter may please be taken.
