Dear Sir
I am having NRI Repatriable share and my bank need a letter from the Registrar that I am holding the share in NRE account and it is repatriable in NRE account.
I send couple of email but so far no response.

I am having Reliance Industries shares (1706) held AS NRE Status.
I am having DEMAT account with HDFC and shares are held in this account. I am unable to sell the shares because they required any one of the document (Mentioned as below -Share in demat Account) as a repatriation proof. These shares bought in primary account in[protected].

Shares in NRE demat account :
Please note, to sell the shares which are in NRE demat account you need to fill attached annexure 1 and forward us scanned image of that along with NRE demat holding statement and repatriation proof.
Any one of the below mentioned document can be provided as a repatriation proof.
1. Copy of Allottment letter / Letter from the company mentioning the allotment details of shares on repatriation basis.
2. Copy of cheque which shows that the said cheque was issued towards payment of purchase of the shares.
3. Copy of Bank statement which mentions that the transaction was towards payment for purchase of respective shares.
4. Copy of IPO Application form which mentions that the shares were bought by the customer on Repatriation basis.
5. RBI approval number issued to Company for allotment of shares to NRE customers.
6. Confirmation from Company Registrar stating the shares were purchased by customer by utilizing his NRE funds.
