There are lot of discrepancies in the details of the properties and the tax structure.It seems that the corporation has revised the tax structure without informing the concerned property owners.The year of construction of the properties are mentioned as `latest`, hiding the actual age of the properties.The technique adopted by the officials to garner more revenues for the Govt.is highly deplorable.It is suspected it has been deliberately done at the behest of the concerned minister and CM.In the tax arrears status on the web, some ambiguous and wrong amount more than the existing assessment (one and half times more) is shown as tax due, which is highly ridiculous.The Govt.itself indulges in unfair practices to extract more from the tax payers.If this sort of fradulent means are adopted by the corporation, property owners will be constrained to sue the concerned dept.in the court of law.
