[Resolved]  Rto Indiranagar, Bangalore — Non-receipt of revised driving license with change of address

Dear Sir,

I had applied for a change of address in my DL in RTO Indiranagar on 6th Aug'16. Firstly, their website mentions that if the application for any change is in the same RTO from which I got the DL issues, then any change will be made and sent on the same day between 4.30 - 5.30pm. But that is not the case. After I applied for the change, they mentioned that they will send the revised DL within 30 working days. However, it's been more than 30 working days and I have still not received my DL.

When I enquired in the customer care, the executive told me that if I haven't received it within the specified time period, then I will have to go and collect it from the RTO office and that too only during 4.30-5.30pm. This is complete harassment to the public because they have already charged me for the cost of speed post and now want me to go and collect the DL instead of sending it to me.
