On 27.1.2022, I had purchased AMAZOR Drain motor for LG fully Automatic Washing (3 pins) from S S Distributors, Jaipur (PAN No: FMJPS2243P, GST Registration No: 08FMJPS2243P1ZA) via Amazon.in (https://www.amazon.in/) for Rs.690/- (Invoice Details: RJ[protected]. The item was delivered to me on 1.2.2022. However, due to the death of my father, I had gone to Kolhapur. So, I couldn't check the drain motor immediately. On 12.2.2022, I returned to Nagpur. When I got fitted the drain motor, I came to know that a faulty/defective/duplicate product was delivered to me. It didn't work at all. After fitting it to my washing machine, water started flowing continuously from the washing machine. So, I raised the grievance with Amazon.in. However, refused to replace the item or refund money on the ground that the period for returning the item was over. Only ten days was fixed for returning the item which was too short. Such unilateral conditions fixed by the seller cannot bind the purchaser more so when he cannot verify and check items sold by E-Commerce Companies. I was required to purchase a new motor for Rs.1390/- from a local vendor. Due to the faulty item provided by S S Distributors, Jaipur and Amazon, I was required to spend more money. Ms. Shalu Sharma of S S Distributors, Jaipur in the phone call and WhatsApp messages agreed to send a new drain motor against the faulty drain motor. Now, she is refusing to send a new drain motor by swallowing her words. There should be a check on such types of online frauds.
