I registered Sai Consultancy on December 27, 2022, with Receipt No: 21510, through Miss. Fatima Mercy. During registration, I stated that I had a job offer in hand and was a fresher. The consultancy assured me that they would allocate a job within 90 days.
Shortly after, they contacted me and claimed that my profile was shortlisted for an IBM Data Analyst position in Dubai. However, they required an initial payment of 1, 00, 000 rupees for visa processing, which I made on January 10, 2023 (Bill No: 853). We signed a Mutual Agreement on the same day, although I received the scanned copy after two weeks.
In the following months, I made regular inquiries about the job and visa process. They cited slow visa processing due to government regulations and mentioned that they were currently allocating jobs only to diploma holders. After waiting for six months, I approached the consultancy in June, and they informed me that they would start the visa process and that I would receive the visa number on August 24.
I requested a meeting with Mr. Vijay, which was delayed for quite some time. On the meeting day, he assured me that I could apply for a refund if there were further delays.
However, on October 19, I received a call from Miss. Amurtha, stating that the visa processing would start on November 16 or later. She did not provide an exact date. Frustrated with the continued delays, I applied for a refund on October 21 via email. Unfortunately, I did not receive any confirmation or updates regarding the refund. I called them on October 31, and they promised to send an email regarding the refund processing within one day. Regrettably, they failed to do so.
This prolonged ordeal has had a significant impact on my career, as I am a fresher who has also lost a job offer. I am left with no choice but to seek a refund.
