On 13th March 2024, I received a call and a WhatsApp message from a contact (number: [protected]) from Ranjani. They mentioned that they found my contact through Monster and were actively sourcing candidates for their clients. As I was also looking for a job, I engaged with them. Initially, they asked me to pay 1, 000 rupees for their services, (I thought only 1000) which I paid. They assured me that they would arrange interviews with top MNCs.
On 10th April 2024, they contacted me again, informing me that my profile had been shortlisted by an MNC. They then asked me to pay a total of 1 lakh rupees, initially 50, 000, with the remaining 50, 000 to be paid once I got a job. They insisted that I make the payment.
I arranged the 50, 000 rupees from friends and relatives. At that time, I hadn’t received any calls from recruiters, So I thought that at least by paying, I would get an interview. After making the payment, they told me to wait 4 to 6 weeks (until the end of June 2024) for a call from a recruiter. However, after that time, I received no updates from them. Despite calling them 50 times, they only responded a few times, telling me to wait for another 2 to 3 months(end of September 2024) due to a hiring freeze.
At the end of September 2024, I called them again for an update, and they informed me that again I would need to wait until December 2024. At that point, I decided to cancel & requested a refund on 5th October 2024. They told me to wait another 2 to 3 weeks (end of October).
However, from October until now, they have continuously postponed the refund date, and the amount has still not been credited to my account. I have provided all my account details via email, but they have not responded properly.
I have communicated with their team through several phone numbers ([protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]), and each time, I was told that my refund would be processed by today. I am deeply frustrated by the lack of follow-through on these promises.
I have been repeatedly misled regarding the timeline. While the deed copy mentions a refund date of December 26, 2024 which is again making delay, I do not agree with this and was instead informed by your team on multiple occasions that the refund would be completed, December 7, 2024.
Moreover, I have tried contacting them numerous times, I was not provided with clear or satisfactory information regarding the delay. This lack of communication, coupled with the delay in processing my refund, has caused significant financial hardship and distress, as I have been in difficult situations with borrowers, which has affected my personal life and relationships.
