I have given mandate to release a sum of rs.5000/- p. M. Towards payment of installments against sip. Canara bank mayur vihar phase-ii, delhi from my s/b a/c every month (I am maintaining my s/b a/c no.[protected]. However the bank has deducted arbitrarily a sum of rs. 236/- (@ rs.118/- twice) from my s/b a/c.
I am also paying the installments for my sip from other bank where no ecs mandate charges are being deducted.
On enquiry from the branch manager he replied in a rude manner that this is the bank's prerogative to deduct the ecs mandate charges and can not be compared with other bank.
In view of the above you are requested to look into the matter and do the needful for reversal of the entry and credit the amount to my s/b a/c.
