Re — saraswat bank exploits customers
Undue cheque book charges

I was maintaining savings bank account with saraswat bank,
D b marg, mumbai central branch since november 1998. I had
To close this savings bank account since i am shifting.
I had obtained only tow cheque books during tenure of this account, second cheque book i was compelled to take since account number
Was changed because of shifting of branch premises.
I regret & inform, saraswat bank has charged rs 330 / as closure
Cheque charges, even though i had taken only 2 cheque books so far
This is clear case of exploitation of customers by saraswat bank. I had
Contacted chief general manager[nodal officer ] mr a s jain, sent emails,
Contacted telephonically, similarly branch manager too was contacted but
No response at all. This exposes lack of business ethics, very poor customer
Service.
Please take up this case so other customers should not get illegitimately,
Unduly get exploited
