Saraswati Driving School, Oachira Kerala — Unprofessional and Unethical Behavior

Address: Oachira, Kerala

I contacted Saraswati Driving school, Oachira kerala, to learn Car Driving. The Owner of the school, Siddharthan, age 81, initially said that the charges to learn driving is 7500 RS and 30 days is the time period . We said okay but we also said I have to renew my Two Wheeler license as it is getting expired. He said it is only nominal charge..he will get both the things done. But it took many days to understand it was a Trap to get money from us as much as possible.

He first asked us to give 3500 RS which we gave and then I appeared for learner's license exam which I cleared after two weeks as the date was scheduled then. And then even before the first day of learning driving, he told us to pay 2000 rs...so, we gave him almost 80% amount of the 7500 rs even before learning car driving...The instructor there Mr. Sadanandan was very good, for the first six to eight days he was teaching well but then he got unwell and couldn't continue..I had to sit many days at home waiting for their call.. Whenever I called Siddharthan, he used to give excuses like today instructor is not available or the car is in garage, etc Then he used to call occasionally once in a week and he used to teach all the students together at the same time, making every student drive for 5 minutes and used to get sign in the register to show that today's teaching was done, which is not the right way as he is supposed to teach every student individually and give them sufficient time. While teaching, Siddharthan was very very rude to his students almost torturing them mentally and physically. I was in depression because of his behavior. He used to demotivate his students calling them idiots, stupid, mentally retarded and many bad words which was enough to shatter confidence and create self doubt in the students mind.

Every time, he used to call to bring money that was remaining. So we paid him full 7500 RS even before 15 days of proper learning.

Then there was no call for 12 to 15 days and then just a day before my scheduled date for Driving Test, Siddharthan calls to say come to his school. When I went there, he said to me that tomorrow is the Test Day. I said I am not ready for test as I haven't learned car driving properly and I said I don't have the confidence. He said even if you fail tomorrow, it's okk, you come for test but before that bring the remaining 2000 rs. I asked him which money? He said for Two wheeler license also. I said it can't be so much for renewal. He said pay it, you don't have option. Otherwise we won't take you to Test. I decided not to pay him... Hence, I wasted my 7500 RS hard earned money for nothing trusting this conman Siddharthan who's only intention is to get money from the students as much as possible before they realize they have been cheated. I have seen many parents complaining to Siddharthan that how their kids failed in the RTO Test and he used to say it's not their fault. He always blamed students and never accepted his mistake.

Most of their students go to RTO test not fully prepared and fail and for retest, he again charge money to reschedule the Test. Siddharthan shouts on his students, pinches them, slaps them while teaching them. He is 81 years old. He is not supposed to teach because of his age but many a times he takes the responsibility to teach as he knows nobody will come to question or inquire him.

Siddharthan, Owner of Saraswati Driving school, Oachira is a Fraud Man and I don't want anyone else to suffer what I went through.

I would recommend not even a single person to go there to learn car driving... It's a Trap Driving school to get money from people in the name of teaching Car Driving.
