I went to purchase a sony led tv alongwith my wife and son to the kohat enclave, pitampura, delhi branch of above dealer. We were told by mr. Jatin, sales man there to go for the model klv-32w562d. We were told that it is a full smart tv with an auto upgrade within few days. We were further told that we can get an extended warranty upto 5 years by paying a little amount of rs 3500/-. We were told that warranty is from sony co and tv is for rs 34500/-. We were told that we shall be recieving warranty from the co. When actual bills were made which we didn't notice at that time, tv was for rs 32500 /-and a 3 year extended warranty for rs 5500/- was billed whereas sony warranty card is mentioning only one year warranty. I went back again to point it out to them and asked them that sony is giving an extended warranty for two years for rs 2500/- online and i told them to refund my rs 3000/- excess charged from me but they refused to listen to me. I purchased tv for bringing joy to my family om my birthday but i ended up having feeling of being cheated at the hands of a greedy dealer. Its just not question of rs 3000/-, its a feeling of helplessness that we can be manipulated easily and can't do anything about it.
I further want to add that they sold me a philips soundbar alongwith telling me tv's volume is not sufficient but that was not the case and its lying useless installled below my tv.
I want a refund of rs 300/- alongwith an extended warranty card from sony and want toget my tv checked from a sony executive as it is not able to maintain a steady network connection.
