Respected sir/madam,
On 26th june 2017 i have placed an online order for apple ipad mini, 16gb in the site www.shopmonk.com and paid rs.17, 190 using my debit card. (Order ref. No.[protected].
On 29th june 2017 i've received an email from them stating that due to high demand for the product, ordered item is out of stock and mentioned that they have initiated a refund which require 10-14 working days to process.
Since i have not received the refund after 14 days, i have started chasing them through phone calls and emails, but they were giving various lame excuses like they can't do anything because the issue is with the bank etc. After i send a mail saying that i will be moving legally they responded by an email on 22nd july 2017 saying they have initiated the refund and i will get it with in 5-6 days. (Which they were initially saying, on 28th june they have initiated refund and the problem was with the bank).
I strongly believe that this is their intentional fraud act. Because their product prices are much cheaper than other sites and after customers place order and pay they will send these excuses saying the stock is exhausted and will hold customers money for their sake.
