I am 84 year old retired army subedar from Madurai, Tamilnadu. I purchased a hearing aid of model BTE Intuis 4.0 sp signia from soundsgood hearing care store located in Anna Nagar Madurai.
The total purchase value was Rs. 27000. The date of purchase was 18.06.2023. The warranty is up to 18.06.2025.
Two months back, I.e. March 2024, it suddenly stopped working. I couldn't hear anything despite wearing this hearing aid.
I took it to the same store where I purchased along with the warranty card.
But the customer care executive replies by saying that if you pay another 27000 rupees we can give you a new one. "We just can't do anything with the one that you already purchased".
As I'm an elderly person I went again with my son once and son-in-law another time. But the company refuses to repair it under warranty.
No one can imagine how much I suffer due to the inability to listen to what others speak. I can't even understand what my elderly wife is saying. How do you expect us to live a normal life, if you can't even honor the warranty given from your end?? Was this information helpful? |
