With extreme agony, would like to inform the causual attitude of Local Cable Operator of Siti Cable in Bansdroni, Kolkata area.
We have been using old model Set Top Box provided by Siti Cable since 2006. Though we have requested the local operator to replace the Set Top Box with a new and advanced one, but they have always declined justifying the box is best model.
Since 2nd January (Monday) evening suddenly Set Top Box stopped functioning with a message that error in card (some 170 or 160 error code)
We had lodged complain with
1. Siti Cable customer care[protected] at 9.20 pm on 2nd Jan. We were suggested to contact the Local Operator.
2. we could contact Local operator at 11 am on 3rd Jan.
3. Support person from Local Operator arrived at 3 pm on 3rd Jan. They assured latest by 5th January (Thursday) morning, we will get the repaired Set Top Box. We were also told that against repairing we have to pay Rs 250/- and for new card 400/-. We were agreed with the terms
4. When we followed up on 4th evening, we were informed that Set Top Box has been sent to Siti Cable office on 4th afternoon. For certain internal reason could not sent on 3rd itself
5. on 5th when we followed up, we were informed that it will take whole week. One lady available on the no[protected] responded so casually.
Request to pay an heed to the matter.
