We the owners of multiple dwelling units (4 occupants as listed above) residing as combined flat owners in above said location are hereby reaching the respected CMDA authorities to do the needful against the deviated construction being raised in plot# 33 of VGP shanthi Nagar, Pallikaranai, Chennai – 600 100.
We have been residing in this location since 2010 and a new construction which the landowners commenced in mid of 2015 found to be deviating the CMDA construction norms. This construction site already has stilt + FF + SF along with car parking in stilt which by itself have deviated the norms of minimum space between construction (4- 5 ft on all sides). Though we raised concern regarding the same, we didn't raise objections given their assurance for free airflow and sunlight due to open car parking.
However the owner has decided to raise the 3rd floor which may flout the CMDS norms as per approved FSI in this locality. Moreover as neighborhood residents we are concerned that further raise in the building is a safety threat for our building and may obstruct natural flow of sunlight and wind. Situation may get worse for us if empty plots behind us also gets constructed resulting in excess water, electricity usage to keep our premises bright & airy.
With the land owner / builder has decided to continue their construction inspite of our objection, we request you to take necessary action as per CMDA procedures and safeguard our rights as neighbors. Was this information helpful? |
