[Resolved]  SOTC — Cheating customers

Kuppuswamy Chandrsekaran, 49/50 X Avenue, Ashok nagar, Chennai 600083, Mobile number [protected], I went to Scandinavian with East Europe tour through sotc from 16/07/2014 to 01/08/2014. I paid Rs50, 000 by way of cheque number 852083 of City Union Bank, Tambaram as advance Then paid Rs53, 221 INR component by cheque number 898885 of State Bank of India, ASHOKnagar and Rs1, 70, 775 Euro component (2, 070 ) by cheque number 852085, Ashok nagar. Then I also paid an excess of Rs 85, 167 0n 15/07/2014 by cash (64, 712 + 20445). 1) After booking I never opted for cancellation either orally or by written statement. But when two of our group opted for cancellation due to surgery for one of them and rejoined latter I was asked to pay excess of Rs20445 as cancellation and rejoining fee without any reason for no fault of mine. 2) Our group originally consisted of four members. After cancellation of two members and rejoining one another person was included. Because of this I asked one person to share room with me to Mr Nanda. Of sotc .One more person from Mumbai Mr Aslam came alone. When I asked for him to share with me Mr Nanda refused to give his number. But when I met him on the tour he was willing but it was too late. Because of this I lost Rs64, 712 . He may get more commission for not joining. 3) We were given BA air ticket for the journey without British transit visa. I don’t know how could a reputed concern like sotc did this mistake, even though this rule is there for several years. So because of this we had to go to the Airport at 300AM on 16/07/2014and came back home since we couldn’t get boarding card. At about 300PM on 16/07/2014 we were asked to rush to the Airport at 430PM to catch 530 PM flight to New Delhi. Air ticket was given in the Airport 4) Because of this we had to go to Airport again with a loss of Rs300 for taxi every time. Even when we asked about the accommodation near the Airport we were not given. Because of this we had lot of mental tension, agony and loss of sleep. 5) We lost one day in the sightseeing and we didn’t occupy the room in Helsinki on 17/07/2014. 6) Worst of all I was asked to pay an excess of Rs85167 on 14/07/2014 by cash Mr Nanda didn’t accept cheque or credit card payment for this. Hence I asked him to send a person to collect the money. I drew the cash from the Bank on15/07/2014 and gave the money. In the evening only I got all papers necessary for the travel. He pressurized me to pay otherwise I may loose entire tour amount. Hence I request you to compensate for all the losses I had fully at an earlier date.
