I am Blessy Y M, living in Chennai. During vacation time, me and my family had gone to our native at Nagercoil. During that time my second daughter got high fever and admitted in Dr. Jayasekaren hospital on 01.01.25 and got discharged on 03.01.25.
We already had taken Star health Insurence for our family from October 2024 onwards. But during claim process they rejected our claim since we are paying the amount on EMI basis.
During claim they told we have to pay the full EMI (Rs. 51000) to get the claim. So we didnot furthur move on to claim.
Now the next EMI falls on february andso we got a call from Star health person. Then i told all the details to him and the person named Yogeshwaran from Star Health Madurai Branch told, if you pay the due, then you can get your claim amount.
Today (19/03.25) morning they have taken the EMI amount (4500 rs) from my account as auto debit and now they are telling you might have applied for claim within 45 days from discharge. So we cannont apply for claim now. I was stressed because of their reply. Was this information helpful? |
