This email is regarding claim number 0403197 health insurance policy number P/161100/01/2019/006435 . This policy is 18 months old and while taking policy agent promise this is absolute cashless policy. This is to inform this is mine and my parents first experience with star health Insurance and I am sorry to say first experience is horrible. My mother got hospitalized on 2nd September in Venkateshwara hospital Dwarka sector 18 as she was having very high fever and frozen chest because of cough and cold and constant high BP and for skin allergy. We started contacting TPA second day and they informed you about same they started treatment for same. We submitted all required document also a team visited her on behalf of star insurance to them she explained same in addition she mentioned she fell from scooter 3 months back only and she has backache too but team fudge the facts and instead of 3 months they wrote 3 yrs. in their report so that they do not have to clear the bill. We as middle-class family buy Mediclaim policy so that in the time o[censored]tmost medical urgency we shouldn’t have to run for money instead we take care of family member.
She got her discharge paper last evening only i.e. 09th September 2019 but she has to spend entire night on reception as claim was declined and we didn’t had money to pay. Please help if her health deteriorates further who will be responsible. Today 10th September 2019 we arranged money from somewhere and paid in cash which is huge burden on us.
Her BP has again increased after discharge and still she is not well because of stress this can lead to serious and complicated problem and we scared to take her to hospital again as we know Star Allied Health insurance not be paying anything even to genuine patient too.
Now I am looking for reimbursement of entire hospital bill along with pre and post medical expenses also if her health goes worse further, I need assurance she will get cash less treatment.
