Star Health — lost of passport claim | |||
Respected sir/madam, I am nakkonda sukumar sridharan from madurai tamil nadu. On 16th of june 2018 i travel to europe by schegen visa for two months[protected] to[protected]. So i put a travel protect insurance in star health insurance. My policy number is p/121300/03/2019/000025 while i visited rotterdam (Netherlands) i miss my passport then i complaint and got fir in rotterdam police station. Then i go to indian embassy in "the hague" to get emergency certificate to come back to india. It takes two days to get emergency certificate. From netherlands i informed to insurance company about my missing passport. They ask me to get the missing documents.. I did. After i reached india i go and submitted the documents which i have with me on 18/08/2018 then the manager as me to go to cliam department igone there to submit. There they ask me to contact chennai head office then i mailed them. Then no response from the company after one month again i do the same procedure after that they ask me to submit bills of the travel while i missed my passport in netherlands then i submitted the bills also. At last again and again i go to company met manager then finally they send me a mail that lost of passport cant able to claim. If cant able to claim why should they mention in there policy lost of passport can claim upto 250 usd? Why they ask me to submit travel expenses bills? Why they make me wait go there and here for two months? I got much more depressed because of these issues. Kindly let me know what should i do..
