Vijay TV used be on the top, at a level that no one would have imagined to see it. But lately, you have not been living up to the standards you have set yourself.
The serials on Vijay TV are telecasted inconsistently, in which one serial may play 3 days then it's not playing the next and vice versa. Also, serials such as En Anbu Thangachi, Idhu Kadhala, En Vazkai, and Nandhavanam have not been telecasted and there was no notification of it being stopped.
If you plan to stop telecasting certain serials or programs, you MUST notify viewers. As TV channels are only growing due to viewers, if you are inconsistent with telecasting and stop telecasting serials and shows, it will only impact your popularity and the faith and love viewers had for your channel. We're not watching your channel for free, all viewers who are watching it legally are paying to watch your channel and the least you can do is make sure we are satisfied.
Moreover, Hotstar - the new alternative way to watch your programs is terrible, as it is not accessible for international viewers and this is disappointing. Just because we have the channel does not mean we can sit in front of TV 24 hours a day to make sure we do not miss any program or serial. In order to catch up, we use YouTube and it was better accessible to everyone.
All I kindly request is for all the serials to be telecasted as they were before instead of movies replacing those serials and to use YouTube instead of Hotstar as it is clearly evident that viewers in India are also not liking Hotstar. Just because you have set a name for yourself does not mean you can carelessly continue to keep that sense of pride. Don't let all your success get to your head because your actions now determine how low you'll fall or how high you'll reach.
