Street Vendors And Kabadiwala — Sound Pollution

Address: STREET NO. 7 WEST VINOD NAGAR Delhi 110092

After lockdown it has become an everyday thing for these street vendors and kabbadiwalas in West Vinod Nagar 110092 C Block, specifically in durga mata mandir gali street no. 7. They have made life miserable in the morning by shouting their lungs out, we as residents have been facing this for decades but nowadays it has become too much, we can't even attend meetings and zoom sessions and talk there without there shouting noises in the background, I know there is poverty and stuff but in truth if anyone wants to buy their products or services they can go to the vegetable market for that. This is a serious problem and creates stress and anxiety . I'm sure all other people in the neighborhood are facing the same problems and fed up of this as well. Thus, I request East Delhi MCD to look into it and make strict laws or atleast guide these vendors or have a team of people who would tell them to sell their stuff in their respective markets not around people's homes, not a minute goes by when we as residents have peace.

To,
The authorities concerned,
New delhi.
Sub: noise pollution by streetvendors, kabadiwalas and many unorganised sector jobs.
Sir/mam,
With due respect, I would like write my grievances in detail here.
Being an educated person I know the situation of Indian labour force and also the importance of country's unorganised sector, but sir/mam this doesn't mean while in the journey of providing support to them we make the life of other people miserable violating their fundamental right of life article 21. We are facing similar thing. As we all know delhi is not a planned city hence, there are houses in a close proximity to each other and between these houses there are small small streets. Here are few problems faced my people living in the houses right and left to these streets.
1) High speed two wheelers running 24hrs, sometimes even cars occuping all the streets,
2) Street vendors are not regulated. They come and shout any time any moment without giving any thought to the people living inside houses.
This is not less they even shout in microphones with loudspeakers to sell their product.
3) Sabjiwalas and kabadiwalas are not regulated they come every now and then anytime till 10pm, shouting all day.
4) Dogs and the dogs excreta every where, in the Morning and during the day time disturbances are from this vendors, sabjiwala and kabadiwala and high speed vehicles in residental small street, while at night there is no peace because of dog and their barking.
This is a plea from a student in 13th street south patel nagar. When we hear south patel nagar we all know this is a upsc hub where students from all over India come and spend so much to study in peace. Also there are people who couldnt attend meetings and zoom call while working from home and student get no peace to attend classes.
At last, I would like to conclude my plea by saying Delhi is the national capital of the country. It has to be regulated in proper way.
We all support unorganised sector of the country and their livelihood but they should be trained, taught and regulated to opt for the business in certain way thats feasible and nice to everyone. This way we can set a great example make a transition towards a disciplinary business model.

Looking forward for your action and suggestion

Thanking you
