I joined the company as a fresher in 2010 to get the offer everyone needs to sign a 3 years bond with the company. If we resign in the middle we have to pay 1, 50, 000 Rs to break the bond and get the service letter. During the period of bond the company will deduct 3000Rs from our salary also and it is called a retention bonus. I worked in the company for 2 years till 2012 and resigned my job due to very less take home salary and with me some other employees also resigned. When I resigned I got a mail saying you have to pay 1 lakh rupees to break the bond else I will not get service letter. I requested them that already they have deducted 3000 rs per month as retention bonus and I have worked for 2 years that is 24 months * 3000 = 72000 Rs with them so at least reduce this in 1, 50, 000 so I will pay rest of the amount. I spoke to the management there is no use finally I paid 1 lakh rupees to get my experience and service letter. Totally I paid 1, 72, 000 to get me relieved. My question why are these companies cheating employees and running business with the money they beg from employees. Will I get at least my retention bonus back to me as well as to my other colleagues who are cheated like this.
