Tambaram Municipality — Drainage and Road Extension Work on IAF Station Road, East Tambaram

To the concerned authority,

I would like to bring to your notice that the drainage and road extension work that is taking place on IAF Station Road, East Tambaram, Chennai 59 is VERY SLOW and highly disturbing to the residents. It is a big mess with all the gravel, mud, sand, cement all over the road. Also, residents having vehicles all have to park their cars on the roadside at night because they cannot take it into their homes because of the drains. Safety is a major concern.

The work started more than one month back and till now, they have not completed the work on the residential side of the road. It is a great nuisance to all the residents. When we ask the workers as to why they have not covered the drains, they say they do not have the cement and other materials to work with.

I request you to kindly look into the matter as soon as possible and take the necessary action.
