Tambaram Municipality — Nuisance of stray dogs

This is to your kind attention regarding street dog in our area, where we are living in Chennai.
Area name : Madambakkam (Malleshwari Nagar 1st Street, Madambakkam )
Chennai : 600126.
Recently one of the dog has bitten up a boy of 7 years old. We are facing a lot of problems due to presence of Stray dogs in the Malleshwari Nagar 1st street, (Madambakkam). These dogs are often seeing chasing / playing each other openly at Malleshwari Nagar Park center. Residents of nearby this area are really afraid of these dogs and want to get rid of them.

Children couldn't sleep in and around our house because of dogs menace through out the day. Please do the needful.

The number of stray dogs in Madambakkam has increased. Each lanes have almost 30-40 dogs now. Specifically ARAVIND NAGAR 1st STREET, near ARAVIND NAGAR PARK. These dogs chase people and vehicles. It has become impossible to get out of the house. They chase us in packs now it is very difficult especially in the night. I request you to please do the needful. Please send dog catchers to this area.

I want to bring a notice about the dogs in madambakkam esp. Maruti nagar. Dogs are sleeping in streets and barking whoever go around. Children could not play due to this nuisance.

In aranganadhapuram, 2nd cross street. West tambaram, there r so much of problem because of street dogs . They r lying in roads and barking and chasing the people's who all r crossing on that side. Many accident are arriving because of those dogs . Pls take action 🙏. I request municipality to take action as soon as possible .

I'm here to complaining street dogs in our area .durga Nagar . Dogs are increasing here more than 25 dogs .some are diseased ..children's are afraid even going to nearby shops and playing with friends ...notorius dogs are chasing who ever crossing them.. we hear barking sounds till midnight which disturbing our residence ..rabbies attacked dogs are there ..please take action early .please do something ..very much help for us

This is to bring to your Kind notice that in west tambaram near kannan avanue backside(thangaraj nagar ration shop) there is lot of nuisance of street dogs during night and day times. The population of dog goes on increasing in our area .Due to which public cannot walk in street. Many night shift people are staying near our home facing lot of problems.

Generally, these dogs you can see lying on the roads and they make their victim the entire person who passes from them.So this is my humble request to you to please pay attention on my letter and send immediately Dog catcher team in this area so that we will get rid of this problem soon.

Hi, In east tambaram -Buddha street there are more than 10 dogs.We could not go out, it’s chasing all. Even kids are scared. In nights it’s making more notice and it’s very inconvenient.It’s entering all appartement and spooling the parking area.kindly send some dog catchers asap

I am Gurumoorthy Venkatraman residing at Tambaram Sanatorium, Thirumangai Mannan Street. In our street around 10 dogs are giving trouble and producing noise at night. And also in our lot of children are there, these dog could attack anyone anytime.

I am requesting you to take necessary action and help us from this trouble. I have attached some of pictures of it.

Kindly register this as a complaint and get these dogs.

Land Mark -Next to body guard munishweer temple.

This is regarding the street dog creating lot of troubles and nuisance please take this as a complaint and do the needful

Street dogs are increasing here and we are not able to walk or ride bikes in the road. Even they are making the children scare. Also they enter the house compound and bite the 2 wheeler seats and chappels.Mad they are also pooping inside the apartments.

This is for your kind notice that a stray dog has rabies attack and is very ferocious and attacking the people going to shops chasing the vehicles and killing other dogs pups totally 4 puppies are dead. There are many children in the streets going for temple and shop.
Moreover there are so many strays in the street. Requesting to take necessary measures to help and resolve the problem. Kindly do the needful.

I am staying at sakthi Nagar 5th Street, near Krishna nagar police booth, west tambaram. In our area street dogs are continuously braking at midnight and early morning. We have new born baby and I have to go work on early morning. So it's difficult to sleep. At the same time very scary to come at outside due to many dogs fighting in my street.
Please take all dogs... It's very helpful to us. Land mark sakthi Nagar children park.
