Tambaram Municipality — Street way blocked by a lathe shop which is running in Irumbuliyur

A lathe shop is running at Lake view street, Irumbuliyur, East Tambaram, chennai 600059.

They are blocking the entrance to the street by keeping all old iron rods and machines in street itself, the same owner is lending his house platform for fish market, hence that is an another mess up.At nights in the same place a small tiffin stall is coming. They made my area a SLUM.

Corporation is not taking any action against them, since our area councilor knows them personally too. If we ask them about this they talking like it was their own street.

I don't know whether they got licence for that lathe or not, they are taking power from domestic line which makes a low voltage in our area often.

We own a car and bikes and we are never got into our street without getting down of the car and clearing all roads.

Also, Street lamp is not working in that same street for past 2 weeks but no action taken.

Please take immediate action on this.
