I have got my electricity bill for the month of March, April from the Tamil Nadu Electricity board. Along with the electricity bill I have got a separate request for deposit of 9999. This needs to be paid along with my bill for the month of March, April. On enquiry I was told that this is a random pick by the system and this deposit needs to be paid in line of my high usage and will be held as a deposit. I have not heard of this mechanism earlier? What is this deposit for? When will it be returned? How much interest will be paid on the deposit?

Tangedco — My online Bill payment not able to login

I forgot my password and I am not able login so I went to forgot password option and I tried entering Consumer no but it is coming Invalid Consumer No. Please Fix this issue
