Hi, I'm the tenant of this house.Since i'm using this connection from June -2020. That time the connection has been reconnected and paid by the fine charges. After some time the meter was not working and complained many times directly to the EB office and wrote a letter and then they changed the meter and it was paid by the EB bill on time without delay. Meanwhile the meter was in the issue. The EB reading person came and wrote the same reading, that's not my fault. We applied to change the meter due to the issue. They simply entered the same reading for the defective meter. How can I be affected due to the defective meter reading? The main issue is that the defective meter charged 1600 rupees for this month EB reading taken on[protected], 570 units used for the amount of 2242 but they charged 1600 rupees and one day late payment charges included totally 4020 Rupees.
&n...⇄ How can I bear the defective meter charges? It's very hard to pay. I have paid 4020 rupees today[protected] with late payment charges. Meanwhile there is no proper power supply, per day at least 2 to 3 times the supply goes off from March 2022. I have complained many times but it still continues and there is no action taken. Like this kind of service, why should I pay for the defective meter charges? Kindly refund the amount which is charged for defective meter charges 1600 rupees.
