Iam a resident of Kodambakkam Parangusapuram. Yesterday (June 15th 2014) our power supply was shut by 9pm. Even after countless number of complaints the response to the complaint was damn slow. by 1 am we received the supply and when we enquired about what was wrong and why our street keeps facing this trouble every single night the lineman's reply was shocking, not only was he rude but he threatened to cut the supply again if we keep asking him questions. What kind of behavior is it? By 2 am again power supply was hindered but this time it was just our building and another building nearby. Our area AE NEVER attends our call 90% of the time our local EB station also does the same thing. Everytime we ask them the reason they keep telling cable is at fault, we have been receiving the same answer for 1 1/2 years without any permanent solution for this. With the Hon' CM promising uninterrupted power supply is this what you do?? 15 hours of power shut in KODAMBAKKAM (heart of the city). Irresponsible replies, ignorance, arrogance, never provide permanent solutions is what your department does causing physical and mental torture to the public. We would like immediate PERMANENT (change of cable) solution to our issue.
