Tamilnadu Electricity Board (TNEB) — Unsafe and erratic electric supply of power in Chowdry Nagar, Valasaravakkam, Chennai - 600087

Dear Sir/ Madam, Today in the morning, service connection to house no 202, 203 etc caught fire on the pole opposite house no 203. Till now there is time to time sparking from these service connections tapped from the pole making the entire 18th street unsafe to humans and animals in the colony. In-spite of three complaints since morning EB of Valasarvakkam have not come to make the area safe by disconnecting the damaged service connections. I am retired Colonel from Indian Army living in this colony since last 8 years and can vouch that both the quality of supply and safety have not been given any importance at all. Today I have lodged a complaint with the Valasaravakkam EB office and the complaint number given is 17. May I request that the issue of safety and quality of suplly in Chowdry Nagar, Valasaravakkam be addressed on a war footing.
