Recently I brought few medicines via Tata 1MG. They have charged Green packaging charges Rs 3 per order. I would like to know is it a valid charge to pass to consumer. I think packaging charges should not be passed to customer. When I checked with them they said they are going towards green packaging and want to save environment which is good but passing those charges to consumer and there is no choice for not opting.
Also on the packaging their branding is mentioned. I came to know if their branding is present on the cover then they should give the package cover for free. Instead they are charging for free.
No other company is charging for packaging even like green packaging.
I expect those charges to be refunded to me and they should not pass these charges to customer.
I am uploading the invoice where you can find those charges.
