I have a TATA AIA Life Insurance Policy and during the FLP, I requested for cancellation of the Rider. Here are some basic notes.
a) Date of Policy Commencement : June 15, 2020
b) Free Look Period : 30 Days, as Policy was sourced thru Electronic/Distance marketing mode via Policy Bazzar, in Online Mode, and I have never met any tata aia executive
in person ever. Please look at the attachment where it says, "Distance Marketing will include sales thru direct sales other than in person"
c) Date on which Free Look Period Ends : July 15, 2020
d) Date on which I confirmed on Rider Removal : July 11, 2020
e) Premium Paid for 4 quarters despite requesting for Rider Removal (From June 15, 2020 till March 15, 2021) = INR[protected] per quarter)
The refund of this INR 7240 is something I am requesting from June 2021 and for around 9 months, they haven't serviced this. During these 9m period, I was in numerous calls, and some emails I have sent have conveniently disappeared, and some complaints I raised have been repeatedly closed with same comments. I am worried sick that if they are not paying INR 7240, how will they pay the assured amount to my family when there is a real claim? Was this information helpful? |
