I have tata nano 2010. I really unhappy with this mileage.
It was moment. When i was fan of nano but when i purchase this car i was thinking it is very good car for city.
After some days car was given 7km/l mileage. I am very tired with this thing.
After days ago i was planed a trip delhi to agra and car drive just 50km the symble of overheating blinking. I was check coolant its was full tank i don't understand what's happening.
I was go in tata motors service center. But can't resolved.😤
Today its given 7 to 10 kmpl mileage...
i am having the same problem with my nano. my nano giving 8kmpl milage in city and 12kmpl in long rides. it showing heat signal every ride and then cannot move. spent 30k for this damn complaint. but still iam having the same. No one can fix this problem. this is a ### car.

      I own a nano dl 4cal 4622 and to my surprise i have found the under layer of the car has very badly rusted to the extent it has to be completely changed eventhough i have driven the car only 2500 km in 5 years. What to do? The workshop is asking for 25 to 30 thousand and a few parts are not even availableaftersales of tata nano is pathetic. Workshops keep closing.
      They are asking me to dispose off the car as nothing much can be done about it.
      Do you think it's feasible to dispose off the car after 5 years after spending so much hard earned money. Please help and advise me

          I have purchase a car from sri balaji motors, moradabad in the month of dec. 2014 with a warranty period of 4 years or 50000 km.

          The issue is that my car's brake has been failed since three month within the warranty as of above mentioned. Therefore i visit to the service center of sri balaji motors moradabad, but the service department of said agency refused to repair the problem and told me that my car is out of warranty...

          After two month i again visit to the above service center for routine service and ask to repair the brakes issue also, then they again refused to do so saying that my car has been out of warranty.

          However, i have run my car only 48000 km and still in warranty period as per your norms.

          Therefore kindly arrange to resolve the issue asap.

          Since the purchase of tata nano vehicle i have spent to much money of its purchase vale. I have fed up. Be please to guide for its return to it.
          I am having a tata nano twist XM 2015 model I have changed my new break cylinder and break shoe in last week. The next day I run the car its got failure in middle of highway. Till now I am doing authorised service center in Coimbatore tamilnadu. Still I got this worst experience.

            My nano bearing registration no. Dl 2c q 9564, purchased vide invoice no. Cr[protected], on 31/3/2014 has done only 11460kms. It gives a very poor mileage of 10kms despite being serviced twice in the interval of 5000kms. The a. C. Compressor was replaced for malfunction on 18.10.2017 by m/s. Autovikas sales & service pvt. Ltd. New delhi, is still having sound which has increased and it is very irritating to drive because of the sound and the cooling has gone down.
            It’s very disheartening that the car meant for common man gives such a bad fuel average and so expensive to maintain because of the faulty parts.

              I've had my car for 5 years now and this is the second year that there is water logging in my car due to rains. I fixed it the last year but again this year same issue. I've heard of car loosing out on performance mileage, wearing out in general but water logging?... Never!! Its annoying. The worst part is that i dont know where is the water coming into the car from. After giving it to repairs last year and spent around 5k fixing it the water stopped collecting around the drivers seating side but it is still collecting around the passengers side. Tata manufacturers please make a note of this and please fix it. Otherwise i like my car. I like everything about it. Apart from this its never given me any trouble. The mileage, average, comfort level, space easy to drive in traffic has been perfect.

                Dear sir,

                I wish to state that i had recently given my family tata nano for servicing at gandhinagar in a perfect roof condition. When i received it back after servicing, i found the roof paint peeled off from various places. It was pleeling off from sides of windshield also. Reason unknown. The dealers details, his quotation to repair the roof and the condition of the car are attached. I feel cheated, the car being new and kept nicely. Kindly help. I am not sure whether this is isolated case of manufacture default or servicing. Regards.

                  I own a nano xta twist. I was quite happy with my car but the after sales services is very poor. I purchased the car from concorde automobiles, mathura road, delhi in august 2016. I sent the car for servicing but i was not satisfied. Anyway, my problem is different. Recently, one of the tyre got punctured twice within few days time. When i took it for air filling i was told that the tyre was swollen and in no condition to run anymore. Then i called up the service center and spoke with ms. Komal shreshtha, cro regarding this and she assured that she would get back but till date i have not received any call from her. After this, i tried calling mr. Singh, head, servicing but nobody took the call.
                  Now, my last complaint regarding after sales service is that while getting new tyre changed in the tyre showroom we asked the person to check all the other tyres for safety reason, we noticed that one tyre was of ceat make while rest of the tyres were of jk make. It is very surprising because i have always noticed that all four tyres of any car belongs to one single company always till it is changed after long use.
                  I have come to this conclusion that this change of tyres has happened during the servicing of the car.
                  Another issue which is of concern to me is how the tyres have become swollen and uneven and of not running condition in just 14 months (3600 kms. Of running).

                      I own a tata nano car and i have been trying to fix my glove box issue from past 1 year (Under warranty). When i raise a request at your whitefield (Bangalore) service center, they make an excuses stating the stock is not there and we will get it soon and you guys stopped manufacturing the glove box etc..                       Tata nano jerking once at a speed of 30km in the 3rd gear. the same was brought to the notice of service centres but they was unable to rectify .

                        We have purchased tata nano genx on 9th feb 2018 (Hardly 8 days).
                        Since sat - 17th feb 2018 we have been facing hillarious issues with this vehicle.

                        In the morning i wanted to park hence i took reverse, gear was on reverse but it was gng on a and the car was going ahead. When i switched to a it was gng reverse. I restarted the engine thrice. After that it worked. Later i tried to make n, but that didnt happen till end. I locked the vehicle and returned back.

                        In the evening we tried to start the car, but it wasnt gng on n inspite of the gear being on n. After 3-4 times restart finally it went. Later when we were driving on a,
                        Automatially the gear use to shift on m then m 2 — 5... Later it went on n automatically and stuck in between the traffic. We were saved yesterday else would have met with an accident...

                        Somehow we reached the destination... At night when we were returning back @ 9pm we had taken reverse but the gears weren't shifting. After hard try we could reach till bridge from where the car stuck and nothing was working,. I formally logged a compliant [protected] @ 9:30 pm - 17th feb 2018. The breakdown team came @ around 11:30 pm... We did explain them the problem. Even they tried but hard luck. Finally the car is in the workshop and now looking into the same..

                        Team — in any condition i wont be taking this car... I need a replacement. By god's grace my & my family's life has been saved from huge risk...
                        Even i[censored] say problem is resolved in no ways i am gonna accept as at the first place how can you deliver a car which is not been tested!!! We have paid for it and nothing is in freeeeeeeeeeeeeee. So mind you make sure you address my concern on top priority without any false commitments and justifications.

                        Hope you take this very seriously and on top priority and revert back to me asap...

                          Nano stops while running
                          Worst service ever seen in my life.

                          I have given my nano lx at craft motor at bokaro.

                          Almost every month car stopped while running. As per tata service centre they have replaced every month one major part clutch plate, electrical switch set, fuel pump, water pump etc and costing average 5000/ pm

                          Every time they keep my car for 5 to 7 day for proper testing.
                          But every time their service quality very poor.
                          The situation was pathetic when the car stppoed on the middle of the road especially with kids. No safetly at all.

                          Did we pay hard earned money invite such burden.

                          I have bitter experience in purchsing so called tata brand car.

                          The quality issue is still under investigation at service centre (6 time same issue)

                          What a shame!!!

                          TATA Nano is one the worst car, though, initially it cost you less but over all its costly.This car is absolutely failed car. Near about same problems are faced by myself. Specially belt breaks ever now and than. This is a major problem.

                            I had purchase tata nano car in 2010 at ahmedabad from aspi motors.
                            From last 2/3 years i am facing problem of self. Not able to start the car with the help of self. I had to swing the key several time to start the car. I complain for the same while servicing. The aspi people advice me to change the battery. I had change the battery. The problem was unsolved. Same problem is there. Then they advice to change the self. I changed the self. But till date the same problem is there.in last service i complain for the same problem at aspi motors while servicing. They give me assurance that we will check the every thing & problem will be solved. But till date the problem is not solved. Please advice me what to do?

                                Dear sir,

                                In referring to my car reg. No. Ka05 mp53 (Tata nano, bsiv, 2013 make), i wish to bring to your kind notice about the poor service and lack of technical expertise demonstrated by your staff. Please take a note of the following details in regard to same and advise the concerned staff to fix up the problem by today in order to avoid escalation of this complaint.

                                First of all, i reported a technical issue to tata motors roadside assistance helpline (24x7) relating to a starting problem of the engine based on the alert indicated by the dashboard's malfunction indicator lamp and service indicator lamp. It took almost a hour to receive the assistance from the nearest service centre staff (Manickbag belgaum, khanapur road). I was clearly informed that the car's warranty has expired, so the technician assistance will be charged at inr 650 for which i agreed. However, i was shocked to observe that a driver who is unqualified to repair the car was sent. He came and said that he doesn't have laptop so the car needs to be towed to the service centre for which i did not agree as car was in a safe condition to be driven to the service centre. When we reached the service centre the towing vehicle driver said that the service centre is closed as it was sunday (15th oct 2017). He very well knew this fact but demanded inr 650 for which i disputed as he had lied to me not even made any small repair or resolve the issue. Moreover, i objected as he was not a qualified technical person to touch my vehicle which has been doing well without any major issues in the last three and half years.

                                Next day, that is, monday 16th oct 2017, a service advisor by name sohail was allocated and a technical staff by name mokashi attended to the repair of my car. According to them, it was only carbon deposit on the spark plug electrode which was cleaned and a bill was raised for inr 413 which i paid promptly. When the car was driven out of the service centre, on the same day again mil lamp started glowing on and off every now and then. Once again, the car was taken to service centre on tuesday oct 17th 2017. It was attended by mokashi and according to him, the problem was fixed up. However, on 19th oct 2017, mil started glowing on and off when i had taken my car for a short drive on vengurla-belgaum road, the next day i contacted mokashi again and i was told to bring the car to the service centre on 21st oct 2017 as 20th oct 2017 was a public holiday. Today i will leave my car and hope to get the problem fixed up properly.

                                I request you to instruct the concerned staff including service manager to resolve this strange technical issue. If not, i shall be compelled to escalate the matter by addressing it to the ceo of tata motors for his kind attention and necessary action.

                                Nb:
                                Please stop sending towing vehicle drivers to repair the car in the name of roadside assistance. This is not acceptable as it amounts to extortion of money from a genuine customer. The towing vehicle drivers are unqualified to repair. Appoint separate staff for roadside technical assistance. Treat this as serious suggestion.

They repair aa part name reorganization lhs tribes arm it's cost is rs 1520.00 labar charge is 1500.00 foundry charm is 450 tax is 351 how far it is correct sir labor charge is too high then the part charge... What is the solution sir. What is the use of your vehicles... I will display my bill by a photo attachment. Show room worker said that printer is not working they give me writing slip and they said come again for printed slip we r so buzy how can we come again again for that slip i like nano car very much at low price but your labor, at time of buying nano car u said that service cost islow price but what is it sir cost are two high for labor sir my car part cost cost is just 1520 but labor charge is rs 2301, then how can we use it sir i think it is useless o[censored]sing your company vehicles..

                                  I am using Nano twist Reg No. KA28 N8230 since september 2014. Since last week the vehicle's braking system is failing. Service personnel conclude to replace brake booster and checked that it would not cover in warranty as warranty expired on 4th September this year. Is that a manufacturing issue to resolve it by free of cost?

                                    Myself Bharat Pal, my Nano Car#JH05AD4442 got engine overheat problem at Km reading 27831. ASL Motor, Jamshedpur repaired it &full maintenance done by them & charged Rs 10987(Vide Bill No 1271dt17.08.2017. They released the car saying that there will be no problem for min one year. But the car got the problem again on the very next day at Km reading 27927. They attended the problem on 08.09.2017 after several times calling from 18.08.2017 to 08.09.2017. Now they are again charging for more than Rs 5000.
                                    Can we expect quality maintenance with detailed check sheet from Tata ?

                                      I own a tata nano, which i purchased with a strong 'make in india' or 'swadeshi' feeling.
                                      But paying a premium price as good as 3.5l for tata nano xta (Auto gear) model left me nowhere, as the car stopped suddenly with a beep & an amt fault alert while driving on a ramp to my parking space.
                                      The customer care till the vehicle went to the service station is great, but as i see a lot of complaints raised on the web regarding the auto clutch is a wonder to me. Also, the service manager asks me to come to the service station to discuss the matter as they are not going to replace it under warranty for a vehicle just 1.25 yrs old & running 5000 kms.
                                      I paid the premium price of 3.5l for the xta model only to get rid of this 'clutch' subject, which is now not at all operated by me. Still, they ask me to pay for the same.
                                      Question is, while the clutch is operated automatically, why the xta automation designed by tata is not at fault, which might have created the issue due to its malfunction?

                                        I have bought tata nanotechnology twist full option vehicle from kerala, kannur, nadal showroom. And i have lodged complaint that my car battery has down within 15 months. After several call i got call from service manager from nadal showroom kannur and he told me to bring the car showroom we will replace the battery free of charge. Somehow i taken car to showroom and i met service manager. I wonder such a stupid service manager continuing in the one of the prestigious kvr group, it is a shamefull for kannur. He simply say we cannot do anything you go exude battery showroom in thana kannur, i will instruct them to give irs 3100. Where as i go same battery 2800. Irs because of irresponsible and wrong commitment of service manager my valuable time and huge many i lost.
