[Resolved]  Tata Nano — Immediate replacement of defective fuel pump

I purchased Tata nano, whose Reg.No is BRO1AS 1151. There was no problem in Fuel pump during entire period of warranty. After Warranty was over, there was repeaated problem in fuel pump which was manufactured by Siemens company. During last 6 months, I have to replace Fuel pump four times. After every one & half month fuel pump stop working. I registered repeated complaints at toll freeno. But no action was taken by the dealer. I have telephonic talk with regional manager, eastern region, Mr.Avinash Roy. Entire facts were enumerated to him. He told that there must be some manufacturing problem in fuel pump, which is manufactured by Siemens company..Tata motor purchase parts from many vendors.Fuel pump is purchased from Siemens company. That company is supplying inferior quality fuel pump. Due to faulty fuel pump reputation of Nano car is being tarnished. He further assured me that faulty Fuel pump will be replaced free of cost & defective fuel pump will be send to Siemens company. Thereafter officials of Tata Motor at Patna, Mr.Rudra, has telephonic talk . He also assured that defective fuel pump will be replaced asper direction of Regional Manager. He informed that at present Fuel pump is out of stock.. Efforts is being made for early procurement of fuel pump. But one week time has elasped. So far no action has been taken for replacement of defective fuel pump. It appears that Siemenns company is supplying spurious quality Chinese fuel pump to Tata Motor. Request is made to immediately replace defective fuel pump immediately free of cost because there is manufacturing defect in fuel pump. If needful is not done, the case will filed in consumer forum. A criminal case will also be lodged in court of CJM, Patna against Tata Motor officials for supplying inferior quality China made fuel pump to customer VERY URGENT ARVIND KUMAR
