Today dated 6th November 2012,Time 2:30 PM,I boarded an auto-rickshaw from Srinagar Colony,Satya Sai Nigamam Gate No. 2 to Pullareddy Sweets Somajiguda.The autorickshaw had tampered Meter and gave readings of 4km ,charged me Rs 45.
Auto Rickshaw does not have the No Plate mentioning Owner,s Name and Contact Info in front of the Passenger Seat as should be the case in any Metered Auto in Hyderabad.
I took the number from his Number Plate back Side after getting down from the Auto.
Auto No is: AP 09 TA 8993
I mentioned to him that his meter is incorrect and he should get it checked.Moreover I also told that why he wants to take the curse of public by cheating them.The auto driver reacted and replied with pride saying "he gets money".
I extended him a 100 Rupee note and told that it only costs around 22 Rs to 28Rs by Meter for the trip and advised him to get his meter checked.
This driver gave me only 70 bugs and raced with his auto without giving me the required change.
Am registering this complaint not for getting money,but am doing it as a citizen.
I just want AP 09 TA 8993 auto should be checked for so that it does not fool the visitors in hyderabad.
My Comment is " It has cheated me a permanent resident of this place then what about tourists?
