Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Reckless Driving and Misconduct by TMT Bus Driver – Bus No. MH04LQ6480

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding an incident that occurred on today morning of 4 September, 2024 at 10:45 AM, involving a Thane Municipal Transport (TMT) bus, numbered MH04LQ6480, near the Balrajeshwar Mandir signal in Mulund West.

While I was driving, the said bus aggressively honked despite there being no space on the side. In an attempt to overtake, the bus driver recklessly dashed into the left side of my car, causing significant damage. What is more concerning is that after the collision, the driver attempted to flee the scene. When confronted, both the driver and the conductor behaved in an extremely abusive and unprofessional manner. Such conduct is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a clear lack of concern towards public safety.

I have attached photographs of the bus driver and the damages sustained by my car for your reference.

This incident reflects poorly on the Thane Municipal Transport service and its commitment to ensuring the safety of its passengers and the general public. The aggressive and irresponsible driving, coupled with the abusive behavior by your staff, is a matter of grave concern. I demand that strict action be taken against the driver and conductor involved in this incident. Such reckless behavior cannot be tolerated, and I insist that the driver in question be terminated from his position immediately to prevent any future harm to other citizens.

I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. Please acknowledge the receipt of this complaint and keep me informed about the actions taken against those responsible.
