On 05th april 2018 i received a call from timestoshopping and one of their female executive spoke to regarding my points earned through online shopping, as i am a frequent buyier on flipkart, amazon and snapdeal i thought to consider the offer and i carried on the conversation with her at that time she told me if i am interested she will transfer the call to the accounts department i said ok at the account department a male picked up the phone and very professionaly started the conversation believing him to be genuine i transferred an amount of rs 2499 via my phonepe account they told me to send the confirmation message via email to [protected]@timestoshopping.com i did that too but did not reaceived the mail from their end i tried calling them but in vain, next day one kajal alleged to be from the verification department call me and informed me that instead of third prize of honda active 4g i have won a maruti baleno as a first prize at that very moment i thought there is something fishy and tried to google about the company and their alleged claims, at that very moment one person from their account department called again and told me to send them a copy of my aadhar card, pand card and a sum of rs 16500 to be doposited to their account as fee for documentation charge the dails of the transfer are, indian bank bank has confirmed that rs.2499.0 is successfully credited to the receiver. Now as i just hung up the call from their alleged account department i fainally got one of the result about timestoshopping and it was clear that they have earlier cheated others in the same manner their modus operandi is also same even they are sending the same acknowledgement letter just change the names of the person, thought i am very much alert about this kind of cyber crimes but i became a victim of one though the amount paid by me was very small but i came across one more person cheated by this people to tune of rs, 70000 my one and only request is to cahch these people and bring them to justice. If we have not provided the data how come we are receiving such calls.
We are not safe as they have our home address too. I feel its a big offence to have personal data of people and calling them unnecessarily for asking money in favour of gifts.
