Excess deducted from fastag at Vagaikulam Toll Plaza.
i (G. Victor ), travelled in my car from Thoothukkudi to Tirunelveli on 14.12.2020. I passed through toll (Vagaikulam toll plaza) at 9:15 AM and an amount of ₹65 was deducted from my fastag account. I returned on the same day and passed through the same toll plaza at 11:53 AM and ₹65 was deducted again instead of ₹30 for the return journey. So instead of considering my trip as return trip on the same day and charging ₹95 (₹65+₹30) it deducted as two single journeys and charged me ₹130 . This happened because the toll plaza did not load the details captured at 9:15 AM from the fast tag .immediately. The return journey message came ahead of the onward journey. As evidence I have the messages received from SBI Fast Tag – The journey performed at 9:15 AM was received at 4:40 pm whereas the return journey message came at 12:05 pm.
I request the authorities concerned to immediately look into the above-mentioned issue and do the needful to revert the excess amount in my fastag account.
